Psy Nurse

I am a board certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner and holistic health coach with experience providing inpatient, outpatient, and telehealth care across the lifespan. I hold a Bachelor's of Science in Nursing from Auburn University and a dual Master's of Science in Nursing from the University of South Alabama in advanced psychiatric nursing practice/nursing education bestowed with honors.

Through my own healing journey, I found a passion for applying ancient traditional therapies, psychedelic medicines, and holistic healing modalities to Western psychiatry. I completed Blue Morpho's Fundamental & Advanced Modern Shamanism courses and plant medicine coursework at the Ayahuasca Foundation's Riosbo Research Center in the Allpahuayo-Mishana National Reserve, Peru. I was a member of the world's first women's psilocybin retreat and research study in Treasure Beach, Jamaica. I have clinical practice, research, and/or ceremonial experience with cannabis, ketamine, psilocybin, ayahuasca, huachuma/San Pedro, kambô, and other entheogenic medicines.

I am lovingly called the "Mushroom Queen" and help my partner Allen manage Fungi Farm, the Southeast's premier mushroom company. I serve as president of the International Association of Psychedelic Nursing (IAPN), a 501(c)3 non-profit organization which unites health care professionals, students, and indigenous healers in the promotion of education, research, networking, and formulation of evidence based nursing practice standards. I manage Hope Network, holistic wellness company staffed with experienced, professionally trained personnel.

I won the Emerging Voices Award, Women of the Psychedelic Renaissance Grant, and actively work to support Cosmic Sister, eco-feminist non-profit organization. I am an active committee member within the American Cannabis Nurses Association, member of Sigma Theta Tau International Nursing Honors Society, American Nurses Association (ANA), American Psychiatric Nurses Association (APNA), American Holistic Nurses Association (AHNA), American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP), Cannabis Nurses Network (CNN), Alabama State Nurses Association (ASNA), and International Association of Kambô Practitioners (IAKP). I am a level II Reiki practitioner. I teach martial arts classes at Auburn Mixed Martial Arts and have led yoga classes for hospitalized psychiatric patients ages 4-93.

Allen and I live in Auburn, AL with our service dog Dolly, Brazilian rainbow boa Prisma, Columbian boa Seraph, and two toads Addis & Big Boi.
